  tonight my partner went in to Lloyds Pharmacy on North Road just after 8 and asked for Calpol on minor ailments as my daughter has all of a sudden started burning up and screaming with pain in her legs.
  
  She was told that she couldnt have Calpol as it wasnt an emergency which is absolutely ridiculous as you can get antihistamines through minor ailments.
  
  When my partner came home I phoned the chemist and I was told that they were too busy to prescribe the Calpol.
  
  After that I was told me that my partner was lying about the situation and when I objected the woman in the background said thats not what I said and the woman on the phone asked me if I was even there.
  
  I explained to the lady in the pharmacy that I could not at this time afford the Calpol so she suggested that I take a taxi from Bellshill to the hospital.
  
  She also said that if I wanted to come back to the pharmacy and fill out a form I could have it first thing tomorrow morning so I asked her why was that not offer to my partner.
  
  I totally understand the NHS is under pressure but I do think that these people should have a little bit of common sense. Ridiculous now
